I told them, &#8220;don&#8217;t worry, nobody will know from the photos how cold it was; they&#8217;ll just see two beautiful people in love&#8221;. I think I was right by looking at their photos! You can also see how winter engagement photos in Vermont can be a great opportunity to capture a day in your life that will look vastly different than spring, summer or fall engagement photos do.  Yes it can be cold, but the snow is fun! Of course we didn&#8217;t know the rain two days prior, followed by freezing temps had turned most of the snow into solid ice, but with care and precision we made our way around without falling once. Every photo session is an opportunity as a Vermont wedding photographer to try something new, something different. It&#8217;s a chance to simultaneously document real moments for a couple who are celebrating their love, as well as an opportunity to elevate my own skills behind the lens. We were fortunate to get blessed with the most beautiful sunset on Lake Champlain and some epic photos as a result. I had envisioned a silhouette in a magical tree house for a while, and Eve &amp; Mike gave me the chance to make it happen. From what I could see of these two love birds, this image was authentic to them &amp; their love: playful, floating, deeply rooted and strong.
