MIKE, SHELBURNE FARMS, VERMONT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dorothea and Mike had a beautiful wedding at Shelburne Farms.\u00a0 I met them when they came to visit me in my studio, only a month before the wedding.\u00a0 They were originally planning for the summer of 2012, but when an opening became available at Shelburne Farms, they decided to go for it.\u00a0 With only a few short months to plan their entire wedding, they certainly\u00a0had their work cut out for them.\u00a0 On the wedding day I was impressed at how well they pulled it off; they made it look easy&#8230;.a testament as to what a great team they make.\u00a0 I was really happy that\u00a0they found me and excited to be back at Shelburne Farms.\u00a0 Dorthea looked beautiful and her dress by Liancarlo was stunning. \u00a0Dorothea and Mike had decided to do a &#8216;first sighting&#8217; and the bride\/groom formals before the ceremony.\u00a0When they saw each other for the first time\u00a0in their wedding attire, \u00a0it was a special moment to behold.\u00a0 They are so in love and it showed.\u00a0 After the ceremony the cocktail hour was held in front of the magnificent Coach Barn, which is\u00a0right on\u00a0the shores of Lake Champlain.\u00a0 This made the atmosphere both sophisticated and relaxed at the same time.\u00a0 Dinner was served in the Coach Barn with catering by Let&#8217;s Pretend\u00a0and afterwards everyone returned to the waterfront to watch a colorful sunset.\u00a0\u00a0 Outside at dusk, Dorothea and Mike did the cake cutting and the guests were treated to Island Ice Cream, cupcakes and wedding cake.\u00a0 Under a red, dusk sky\u00a0I got some really cool images of the kids running around. \u00a0I knew it would be difficult to capture this moment since the light was so low and the subjects were moving so fast&#8230;and I didn&#8217;t want to use flash.\u00a0\u00a0 By panning my camera at close to the speed they were running, I managed to capture the energy and essence of the children in that moment in time.\u00a0\u00a0The images of Dorothea and Mike watching a beautiful sunset on their wedding day were also some of my favorites. \u00a0Soon\u00a0everyone was\u00a0dancing in the Coach Barn and celebrating the joyous night that was upon them.\u00a0\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"p3-flash-gallery-holder p3-placeholder p3-gallery-imported aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/prophoto.s3.amazonaws.com\/img\/p3-flash-gal-placeholder.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lovebuzzphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p4\/placeholders\/slideshow-placeholder-1000074198.jpg\" class=\"pp-slideshow-placeholder pp-gallery-placeholder slideshow-1000074198 mceItem\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dorothea and Mike had a beautiful wedding at Shelburne Farms.\u00a0 I met them when they came to visit me in my studio, only a month before the wedding.\u00a0 They were originally planning for the summer of 2012, but when an opening became available at Shelburne Farms, they decided to go for it.\u00a0 With only a [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":847,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-741","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-weddings"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>DOROTHEA &amp;
