When I arrived it was raining and the forecast was calling for more rain throughout the day. \u00a0These are the moments when a couple (and a wedding photographer) are put to the test. \u00a0 Do you let the weather\u00a0bum you out to the point of taking all the fun out of your wedding day? \u00a0With April and Jon the answer was as resounding &#8220;NO, because we&#8217;re having fun today!&#8221; \u00a0They were fortunate enough to have their first look and the ceremony outside just before a storm blew in. \u00a0From the photos, you&#8217;d never know how wet it was that day! \u00a0But these guys rallied and made the most of every moment. \u00a0They stayed focused on their love and made some beautiful memories in\u00a0the story of their\u00a0lives. \u00a0 And as I mentioned, on a rainy day there&#8217;s often a break and the lighting can be magical for photos. \u00a0 Well&#8230;we got that break and watched the rain give way to a dreamy mist rising off the water and in the fields, a rainbow and some really beautiful photo ops. \u00a0We were also indoors for many of the formal photos. \u00a0The idea was to try and maximize the variety of bride\/groom photos indoors, while keeping it creative and fun. \u00a0 April and Jon agreed to some sexy, Hollywood style indoor portraits as we waited out the rain at one of the houses on the property. \u00a0 Suddenly the sky cleared, just long enough for us to get\u00a0outside for photos\u00a0in the\u00a0beautiful post-rain mist. \u00a0After those &#8216;bonus&#8217; bride\/groom photos,\u00a0\u00a0April and Jon arrived to the house where the family and reception was awaiting them. \u00a0There they found many beautiful hand-made details and decorations. \u00a0It was an emotional day for the couple and their families&#8230;love was in the air! \u00a0 I was truly impressed with this couple as they stayed focused on the positive, their love\u00a0and commitment, the\u00a0support and love of their\u00a0families and the joy of the day. \u00a0 April and Jon, you are a \u00a0beautiful couple and I enjoyed sharing in your very memorable wedding day!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
