Taryn and Mike live in Colorado but held their destination wedding in Vermont at Sugarbush Resort this past fall. I was super excited for this day as these guys have become good friends in the short time we’ve known each other. We had a great time with their engagement session in Boulder, CO last summer so I knew how much fun it would be to photograph them on their wedding day. It was raining on and off this day but not enough to keep us from going outside for photos. These guys are outdoor enthusiasts and would have rallied in any kind of weather! The foliage was colorful and the misty air made for beautiful outdoor photo conditions. Taryn and Mike were feeling and looking great, and their wedding party was in high spirits! I loved the details; antique skis for the guests to sign love notes on, centerpieces that represented the ski mountains of both Colorado and Vermont, gorgeous flowers, fresh Vermont apples and carved pumpkins to celebrate the harvest . The Timbers restaurant at Sugarbush is a wonderful room for a wedding reception with rustic architecture that provides a spacious, warm and inviting feel. The chefs cooked an impressive feast that was so delicious and the desserts were decadent (spoonfuls of fudge, cupcakes & apple pie)! Everyone danced late into the night. Taryn and Mike are amazing people, a beautiful couple, and on this day everyone was sharing the love back to them. It was truly a magical day.

Adam, We are truly in awe of your ability to capture the essence of us and each photo brings us right back to the moment and emotion of the day. The rain could have been a downer– but you helped us find the fun in it instead. You are an incredible artist and person. Thank you. Thank you, Thank you for being part of our wedding, we could not have hoped for anything more.
