It was the perfect fall day in Vermont. Vibrant colors were bursting from the trees, it was ‘peak foliage’. And what a gorgeous fall it was this year in Vermont! I had the great pleasure of working with this lovely couple from NYC who were recently engaged and had asked me to capture this special time. They chose to spend the day exploring Shelburne Farms, a place they wanted to visit. As many engagement sessions start, the couple arrived a little nervous, however that energy quickly changed into excitement and we were laughing and having fun! We started at the Farm Barn with the amazing architecture as our first backdrop. The light was ideal for photography and I brought my favorite light modifiers to kick things up a notch. All the conditions were coming together beautifully, I was like a kid in a candy shop! We made our way to shores of Lake Champlain, past the Inn at Shelburne Farms and finally arrived to the Coach Barn. This historic property has so many sweet backdrops, and combined with such a cute couple, we could have spent all day exploring and creating stunning images.
