Sarah & Joey married at the Mountain Top Resort on a chilly and colorful fall day. It was the height of peak foliage that weekend in Vermont, the timing was absolutely perfect. It was a day full of joy as their two families celebrated this incredible milestone. I love Mountain Top Resort weddings for so many reasons. The obvious is the breath-taking views but less obvious is the incredible staff and smoothness in which they operate their events. It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with Moutain Top Resort!
Sarah and Joey are two of the kindest, sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. They were so appreciative of everyone who was there, not just their family and guests, but they made it clear how much they appreciated all their wedding vendors and staff. We felt the gratitude! And we really felt how clearly in love these two are!
I loved the colors that day, not just the foliage but from the bridesmaids red velvet dresses to the gorgeous florals, the colors of the day were bright, warm and inviting.
It was truly an honor to document this day with our Photo / Cinema Collection. There’s a real advantage to our clients when they invest in our Photo/Cinema collection because we can approach the two different art forms as a seamless team. When your wedding film doesn’t have to ‘play second fiddle’ to your photos, it really goes to another level….as you’ll hopefully see here. I also made a short slideshow of some of my favorite photos to give you an idea of the type of photo coverage and the various styles we can achieve with our team. You’ll even see some images are delivered as multiple looks: color, light and airy, vintage and black and white treatments. The idea is to allow the art form to expand in a nuanced way, and to give my clients various looks that will surprise them and bring even more joy. It’s not easy to summarize a 10 hour wedding day in just 400 photos (and I delivered many more than that for this event), but they represent the various parts of their day with some of my faves.
Another thing to note (and it’s easy to see while watching their film) is how emotional this day was. There was no rush to get through the ceremony or any other part of the day; instead it felt as though every fleeting moment was cherished by this beautiful couple. Hopefully that also shines through in the photos and video. It’s my goal to preserve the day in a way that lets my clients relive the precious feelings they felt on one of the most important days of their lives. It’s my hope that this shines through in these photos and video.
Sarah and Joey, thank you for trusting us to document your incredible wedding and for being so wonderful to work with. Congratulations!
