One Day On Earth 12.12.2012 | Vermont by Adam Frehm from LoveBuzz Productions on Vimeo.
This is a compilation of what I filmed and submitted to the worldwide film project, One Day On Earth 12.12.12. Cinematographers from all over the world filmed anything and everything on this day, and the footage will serve as a historical archive as well eventually become edited into a movie. Participating in this project was an exciting day for me as a visual artist. I tried to capture things that are iconic Vermont: Mount Mansfield, the waterfront in Burlington, Church Street Marketplace, Mike Gordon of Phish, Nectars (legendary bar where Phish got it’s start), Ben & Jerry’s, and a gathering of musicians playing bluegrass music. I began at midnight Eastern Standard Time with a starscape timelapse between 12-6am, and continued filming throughout the day. There are many beautiful places in Vermont that I wish I had the time to film on this day, but one day goes by too quickly. I plan to continue filming throughout Vermont as part of my own personal project in the future. It would be an honor if any of my footage were to be selected for the official movieĀ but if nothing else, this day was great practice and super fun! I hope you enjoy viewing and welcome your comments. Here is a list and brief description of the scenes in the order they appear:
