Nicole and Luke’s wedding was the first wedding of my 2013 season and a great one it was! I took the winter off from wedding photography to snowboard and play music in Colorado, as well as work on some personal photo & video projects. When I returned in mid April it was just in time for Nicole & Luke’s wedding. These guys were so much fun to photograph; they made my job feel effortless and so natural that day. They really helped me kick off my 2013 wedding season with a bang! Thank you for being so great to work with! Being late April in Vermont, you never know if the weather is going to cooperate, and thankfully it was a sunny and crisp spring day; a beautiful day to marry in Vermont. Nicole in her wedding dress looked absolutely stunning to say the least! Luke also was looking great and feeling super festive all day long. I was having so much fun photographing him and his awesome groomsmen, they were hamming it up! The new wedding barn at the Mountain Top Inn is fabulous and I was excited to try out some new lighting techniques there. After a heartfelt ceremony, the party got underway with a special performance on acoustic guitar by a dear friend of Luke’s. The party shifted into high gear that evening with great music by Top Hat entertainment and delicious food & drinks served by the Mountain Top Inn. At the end of the evening Nicole & Luke exited in grand fashion as their guests formed a line holding lit sparklers, cheering as they walked down the aisle. This was a photo opportunity/challenge which I was greatly looking forward to. After the grand exit we had a little more fun making some artistic photos of Nicole & Luke by ‘painting’ with sparklers. It was a magical day for these two wonderful people, their families and friends. I invite you to enjoy some highlights from this fabulous wedding.

Adam-
I don’t even know where to begin… Right from the beginning at the tasting at The Mountain Top Inn and Resort we knew Adam was the photographer for us! His professionalism, enthusiasm and passion for photography was very obvious. Shortly before our wedding I received a phone call from Adam where we discussed our options and made a plan for the photography that weekend. The calm voice, the heartfelt advice and laughs shared on that hour plus phone conversation made a world of a difference. After hanging the phone up I felt such a relief lifted off of my shoulders, Adam had everything organized, prepared and waiting in a follow-up email for me to look through. Finally, the day of the wedding came and Adam arrived and the magic began. He was there for every second and every shot, which was obvious when I received the photos back. The pictures and slideshow that Adam took are breathtaking and brought back the wonderful memories of our special day. Everyone that came had a special photo from our celebration. Thank you so much for being part of our special day!
Love,
Luke & Nicole
