Kate and Ben married on a beautiful summer day in July. Their wedding was held at The Round Barn in Waitsfield, Vermont, one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the state. As a photographer, this property is such a treat to work at with their lush gardens, lillie ponds, lawn sculptures, and the beautiful and rustic barn and inn. I had been anxiously waiting to photograph my first wedding at this magical place for so long, and was super excited to finally have the chance to work there. The first time I heard from Kate & Ben I knew we had a strong connection, as I discovered they are fans of bluegrass music and I am also a musician who loves to play and listen to bluegrass. The music they chose for their wedding day perfectly complimented this rustic and romantic setting. I enjoyed capturing their first look, when Ben surprised Kate with a gift of diamond earrings, a moment they will never forget. After the ceremony what a treat it was to watch the couple make their getaway as they rowed across the pond in a boat built for their father over 35 years ago. I also brought my banjo and dobro along for some fun bonus photos during the party…a follow up to a few of the images we made during their engagement photo session last spring. It was a truly wonderful day for Kate and Ben and for all of their family and friends.

Oh, Adam! Thank you so much for this wonderful slideshow. It is timed beautifully, the shot selections are great, and we really appreciate that you used music from our wedding. This is a perfect way for us to share the experience with a few loved ones who couldn’t be there. Your work is wonderful and we’re so glad we found you.
All the best,
Kate & Ben
Fantastic photos of a beautiful day. The video put me right back into that magical setting, where all seemed perfect and promising, and where there was no shortage of love. Thank you, Adam, for capturing so many gorgeous and emotional moments. Kate and Ben look so happy. I was a proud, proud, mama bear.
