Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home is one of Vermont’s most historic places to visit as well as one of the most special locations to get married. The home was built by Robert and Mary Lincoln; Robert was the only child of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln to survive to maturity. This historic home is set on top of a breathtaking mountain range, boasts a brand new reception hall, beautiful formal gardens, and a friendly, professional staff ensuring everything flows smoothly. It’s quite a magical wedding venue! If you’re considering where to host your dream wedding in Manchester, Vermont, the Hildene needs to be one of your top considerations.
Rachel and Dakota chose both the perfect spot as well as the perfect day. The sun was shining, and the temperature perfect…in the air was that end of summer-early fall feeling. This fun couple had an amazing lineup for their wedding party, and as you’ll see they were ready to party! The family and friends were so excited; it truly was one of the most fun weddings of the year!
I loved how this day flowed, and that was in no small part due to the energy that Rachel and Dakota embodied. They were full of excitement and gratitude and zero stress. They were ready to celebrate this milestone they’d been planning on for so long and nothing was going to stop them from having the best day of their lives!
It was an honor for Love Buzz Photo to document Rachel and Dakota’s day with our Feature Film coverage. Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home and a Dream Wedding in Manchester, Vermont…let’s go! It’s always our goal to tell authentic stories. This day was so full of magic, love and fun and hopefully, this shines through here. Rachel wanted a ‘Vintage Faded’ look, complete with the Super 8 film look. It was fun putting these vintage looks into the edit, lending a nice artistic touch. We hope you enjoy this film, and the story of Rachel and Dakota’s wedding.
