Ben and Shannon celebrated their love with a destination wedding in Cabarete, Dominican Republic. With their intimate group of family and friends, this wedding getaway was an adventurous vacation for all. Ben, a kite-surfer and Shannon, a sun-lover, enjoy spending time in Cabarete. This small town on the north shore of the Dominican Republic is considered one of the best places in the world to enjoy wind/water sports. They married in an unfinished castle which has been turned into an incredibly unique restaurant and wedding venue called the Castle Club. This building is perched high in the mountains, has spectacular views and looks like an old, abandoned mansion. As a a working venue, it’s a totally unique experience unlike any ceremony site I’ve been to. With a blend of beautiful beaches, mountains, rivers, modern resorts and an unfinished castle, Ben and Shannon’s wedding adventure was breathtaking. As a destination wedding filmmaker, it was a wonderful experience to tap into the beauty and feel of the Dominican Republic.
