Hilary and Marcos traveled from Florida to have their wedding in Vermont at Smugglers Notch Resort. It was a day full of laughs, happy tears and a little bit of rain for good luck. Many people choose to have their weddings in Stowe Vermont but fewer people know what a hidden gem Smugglers Notch Resort is. Hilary & Marcos were such a joy to be around on their wedding day, even with the rain, they didn’t skip a beat. This couple is truly radiant! Here is the story of their day.

Sarah & Tyler Part I | Barn at Smugglers Notch | Photo Cinema Collection

Sarah and Tyler married at the Barn at Smuggler’s Notch in Jeffersonville, Vermont. They are one of the cutest, sweetest and most down-to-earth couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Their wedding was full of so much love and emotion that I have to share this in two blog posts. I’m having trouble narrowing down my favorite photos from this awesome day. The moment Sarah’s dad saw her in her wedding dress for the first time was breathtaking. Moments like this are the reason we suggest our bride’s consider planning a ‘father/daughter first look’ into their day. From their emotional cards to their meaningful ceremony, to the heartfelt toasts; this wedding was dreamy. Sarah and Tyler chose their favorite Vermont wedding venue, The Barn at Smugglers Notch. With it’s rustic charm and incredible mountain views, it was the perfect setting for such a magical day. Our team at Love Buzz Photo & Cinema provided both the photography and cinematography for Sarah and Tyler. Here is the story of their wedding day.

Alyssa & Greg | Round Barn Farm, Waitsfield Vermont | Vermont Wedding Photographers

Alyssa & Greg married at the Round Barn Farm in Waitsfield, Vermont. It was a beautiful day, though raining from time to time, this wonderful couple didn’t let it stop them from having an amazing day! The focus was on their loving family, super fun group of friends and their very deep love for each other. The day flowed with a relaxed and positive feeling, and the staff at the Round Barn were incredibly helpful, paying close attention to all details and taking care of everyone’s needs. I really enjoyed photographing Alyssa and Greg’s wedding, they are a beautiful couple and it was an honor to share in their day.

MELANIE & KEITH’S WINTER WEDDING IN BURLINGTON VT, VERMONT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

It was the coldest day of 2012 in Burlington, Vermont. It was 6 degrees Fahrenheit but with the wind on Lake Champlain it was well below zero degrees. Still, Melanie and Keith wanted to do a first sighting and their bride/groom photos outside and I was glad they were up for it. I packed extra batteries and layered some serious thermals under my dress clothes and met Keith at the ferry dock in downtown Burlington. We started with a few photos of Keith while waiting for Melanie to arrive and when she arrived 20 minutes later, my first camera battery was almost dead. It was that cold. My fingers were numb and nearing the point of not being able to work my camera. I could barely talk because my cheek muscles were frozen. We spent about 10 minutes getting some photos on the waterfront and quickly retreated to the hotel to unthaw our fingers and faces. Once inside I noticed this amazing light coming through a bay of windows which overlooked the lake and knew this would make for a beautiful portrait of the bride. I love these images of Melanie by the window for how classic and timeless they are. The ceremony was held in the iconic Church at the top of Church Street Marketplace, Burlington’s award winning open air mall. Inside the church there’s a backroom where I spotted a super cool red velvet vintage couch…the perfect photo prop for a gorgeous bride! I knew this would make for another great image and was glad when Melanie agreed to try some photos on the couch after the ceremony. The images are relaxed, sexy and vintage all at the same time. We finished with a stroll down Church St. capturing a few more wintery images of the couple with the beautiful Christmas lights in the background. It was a quick wedding day and full of fun, snowy photo opps. Here are a few of my favorites from the day. Enjoy!

ANGELA & PETER’S WINTER WEDDING IN VERMONT, MOUNTAIN TOP INN, VERMONT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Angela and Peter’s magical winter wedding! This event brought together their two families who traveled from Italy and Vermont, USA. The wedding was held at the Mountain Top Inn and Resort in Chittenden, VT which provided a magical winter wonderland backdrop for their picture-perfect day. All of the wintery details made the event even more magical. I shot both stills and video and created a unique photo-video fusion slideshow for the couple. Music was chosen by the bride; all songs that were played on their wedding day. Make sure you turn on your sound and enjoy!
