FAQ
QUESTION
ANSWER
Do you work with a second photographer / videographer?
Yes, I often bring a second shooter, but not always. Let me explain: I have several talented second shooters with whom I regularly work with, but not for every wedding. I've photographed many, many weddings as a solo shooter and am very comfortable doing so. Depending on the location and size of your event, a second shooter may not be necessary. I offer packages both with and without a second shooter, so if it's in your budget I'll be happy to bring one. If you choose to have me as a solo shooter, don't worry, we won't miss either of your important 'getting ready' moments by simply planning your schedule together. During your ceremony I'll use multiple cameras with different lenses and different focal lengths, ensuring you'll get a wide variety of images and extensive coverage, whether I'm working alone or with my second shooter.
Do we own our photos or do we have to purchase prints through you?
You will own all of your edited wedding photos as high resolution digital files and have unlimited reproduction rights for personal use. With the files on your usb thumb drive, you can make your own prints and enlargements at your favorite photo lab, whenever you want. Alternatively, I'm happy to take care of all of your printing needs. When you order wall art or an archival album from me, you can rest at ease knowing you'll receive archival quality products, meant to become family heirlooms. Let's talk about the exciting options you can include in your wedding package!
Do you bring backup gear?
Of course! I bring backup gear for everything I could possibly want to use: camera bodies, lenses, flashes / lighting, memory cards, batteries, tripods, etc. You don't have to worry, I've got you covered!
What happens if you get sick or can't show up at our wedding?
I have never missed a wedding in the 10 years I've been a professional photographer. Your wedding is my utmost priority and I'll do everything I can to make sure I'm there. That said, emergencies can happen. In the event of an emergency, I would do my best to secure another talented photographer for you. With my list of second shooters, and my colleagues, it's certain that your event would still be covered beautifully.
Do you offer discounts for off-season or weekday events?
Sometimes yes. It depends on the time of year, and my travel schedule. Please inquire with me so we can discuss your date and budget and see if we can make it work.
How long does it usually take to receive our wedding photos/wedding film?
Typically 6 weeks. Depending on the time of year it may be sooner or later. I always strive to have a fast turn-around time with wedding photos because I know how excited you are to see them! Wedding films take a little longer to complete the final edit. I never batch edit photos or have someone else do my editing. Instead, I lovingly hand-edit each and every image individually, to ensure the highest quality results for you.
Can you offer photography and videography for our event?
Yes! I can provide either photography, videography or both. If you choose to have us do both, I'll bring my experienced team. I've found that with my team, we can ensure a seamless flow while capturing extensive coverage of your event. This means less time is needed for you to interact with your photographer / videographer because we are more efficient. You'll also save money over hiring separate photo
and video companies. Another benefit is there will be no need for your videographer to (as the saying goes) 'play second fiddle' to your photographer and shoot over their shoulder all day...a situation that happens all too often. Because you'll have a team that works together in the spirit of true creative collaboration, you'll get a much better wedding film to accompany your amazing photos! Please inquire with me about this exciting opportunity.
