It was an honor for our team at Love Buzz Photo & Cinema to provide our Photo / Cinema Collection, documenting their entire weekend with our photo and video coverage. Working with the experienced team at Riverside Farm was a breeze, with every detail and plan in place for what was one of the most incredible weddings of 2024.

Sarah and Harry are such a sweet couple. They exuded so much excitement and enthusiasm as their closest friends and family celebrated this milestone with them. We loved the energy at this wedding: emotional, joyful and exciting! The day was brimming with all of ‘the feels’ and it made our job of capturing and telling this story a real pleasure.

Sarah and Harry’s wedding is a story that needs to be told and it’s always our goal to make sure this is done as authentically as possible. Capturing extensive, natural and candid coverage of the event, with all the details, all the people, the beautiful venue, the mountains, the fall colors, and the love!…that was our goal. We hope you feel the goal was accomplished as you look through the photos and watch the highlight film.

Now let’s take 2 days of events, over 15 hours of photo coverage and more than 5,000 frames captured, and distill it down into a 10 minute photo slideshow, shall we? Here’s just 700 of our favorite images from the weekend. You’ll see the rehearsal dinner, the welcome party and their incredible wedding day. The idea is to give you a sense of our range of coverage, the many important moments captured, the details, the venue, the fall colors, and of course, our style. Not every photo is epic, but some of them deserve much more viewing time than less than 1 second to fully appreciate. There are some real stunners sprinkled throughout. Rachel and Dakota chose both the perfect spot as well as the perfect day. The sun was shining, and the temperature perfect…in the air was that end of summer-early fall feeling. This fun couple had an amazing lineup for their wedding party, and as you’ll see they were ready to party! The family and friends were so excited; it truly was one of the most fun weddings of the year!

I loved how this day flowed, and that was in no small part due to the energy that Rachel and Dakota embodied. They were full of excitement and gratitude and zero stress. They were ready to celebrate this milestone they’d been planning on for so long and nothing was going to stop them from having the best day of their lives!

It was an honor for Love Buzz Photo to document Rachel and Dakota’s day with our Feature Film coverage. Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home and a Dream Wedding in Manchester, Vermont…let’s go! It’s always our goal to tell authentic stories. This day was so full of magic, love and fun and hopefully, this shines through here. Rachel wanted a ‘Vintage Faded’ look, complete with the Super 8 film look. It was fun putting these vintage looks into the edit, lending a nice artistic touch. No seriously, I’m supposed to write more to make this an ‘official’ blog post; to make this a story about what must have been the most epic weddings at Basin Harbor ever. Let’s set the stage: Take the perfect summer day in Vermont (yes this was incredibly rare as this was the ‘summer of rain’)…so imagine we have blue skies, sunshine, a gentle breeze, and one of the most iconic wedding venues in Vermont.

The Venue:

Transport yourself back in time to a place where summer dreams come true, where magic happens and beautiful memories are made. You’re at Basin Harbor Resort, one of Vermont’s real treasures. This place used to be know as Basin Harbor Club but over the years has re-branded itself to ‘Basin Harbor Resort & Boat Club’ as they’ve modernized the facility. But don’t be fooled by the modern name, all the old-school charm and magic that keep guests returning for generations, are still there in spades. Cozy cottages along the lake, a beach area and boat club fully equipped for fun, world class golf club, walking paths, ice cream hut, lawn games, kids activities, fine dining, night club, etc.

The Event:

Enough about the venue…now imagine a gorgeous couple who are madly in love, two beautiful families and an awesome group of friends, all ready to celebrate like there’s no tomorrow. The color pink infused the bright and gorgeous decorations, all the little details which popped and shined like the sun-dappled trees and the reflections on Lake Champlain; the planning and thoughtfulness that went into this wedding was spectacular. This wedding was beyond stunning. Jess and Charlie were in great moods. Even with all of the nervous butterflies that accompany a wedding day, these two were absolute rock stars, making time and space for everyone who wanted to connect with them. It was such an honor for Love Buzz Photo & Cinema to be their wedding filmmaker.

What an honor it was for us to document their weekend with our Photo / Cinema collection. And why? Because Geena and Max are the sweetest people you could ever meet. Another thing we loved: They were truly interested in making the most of their photo/video opportunities, always bringing excitement to make the most of any photo opp.

Things even got a bit crazy when giant sized masks of their beloved dog came out on the dance floor…and then there was the flower smelling horse, a wedding party with the most incredible energy, and so many other amazing moments! Geena and Max were absolutely glowing all weekend, and their family and friends brought the highest energy possible! We loved documenting the welcome party the evening before, complete with a bonfire and time by the lake. It was a great opportunity to get to know the family the day before the wedding as well as try some creative photography techniques. Here we have a fun, kind, beautiful and adventurous couple, a magical wedding venue and so we get a Vermont dream wedding!

A Vermont barn wedding at Mountain Top Resort was a dream come true for Geena and Max as you will see. They made the most of every moment and it was an honor for our team to be there to share in their celebration. I’ll let their highlight film and photo slideshow do the talking. And there’s more…so much more! This love story is like a fairy tale, full of magic and hope. Let’s talk about the energy the guests brought; this wedding was fire! Another thing that made this event so special was that I had photographed Nisha’s brother’s wedding nearly 14 years before. So it was quite an honor to be asked to work with this family again, and to get to see so many familiar faces who I had photographed back then. It felt like a reunion for me, and our team at Love Buzz Photo & Cinema was up for the challenge of documenting Nisha & Ori’s incredible event with our Photo / Cinema Collection.

I could go on and on about how amazing the weekend was but I’l let Nisha and Ori’s wedding film and slideshow do the rest of the talking. One last thing I’ll say regarding the slideshow: it was nearly impossible to pick out my favorite photos for this because there are thousands of photos I love, however not enough time to fit them all into a 7 minute video. The photos selected just caught my eye in the moment and should give you a sense of this wonderful event. Enjoy!
