Shannon and Keith’s wedding was at the Mountain Top Inn and Resort in Chittenden, VT; one of the most magical places to marry in the state. It was a perfect sunny day in mid-August. They had a small, intimate wedding with their parents being the only guests. Most weddings are on such a tight schedule that I don’t get as much time as I would like to work alone with the bride and groom. Due to the small size of their wedding, it gave Shannon and Keith lots of freedom with their day’s schedule and I was excited knowing they prioritized their photos. Shannon and Keith gave me a full 90 minutes for the formals and since we finished the family photos so quickly, it left us with over an hour for the bride/groom photos. Having this much time to work with the bride/groom was such a treat for me… to have enough time to really do my best work. We explored the beautiful grounds at the Mountain Top Inn and Shannon and Keith were having so much fun…I guess they didn’t mind getting cuddly for the photos! After the formals we drove a short way up the road to the private home the couple had rented for their wedding. Appetizers, champagne, dinner and cake awaited everyone. The dinner table was set outside on the porch, with an incredible view of the Chittenden Reservoir to one side and a pasture with grazing horses on the other. There the couple and their newly-joined family shared an intimate dinner as the sun set in the Green Mountains. There are so many great images that it was difficult narrowing down which ones to post.

As the mother of the bride I was so nervous!!! I wanted everything to be perfect for Shannon on her wedding day.
