Libby & Justin celebrated their wedding at Boyden Valley Farm. I loved sharing in their amazing day. This was the second wedding I’ve photographed at Boyden Valley Farm and I really enjoyed it; it’s a fantastic venue. I first met Justin and Libby a few weeks before when they came to visit me in my studio. I realized then what fun people they’d be to work with. On the wedding day when I first arrived, I could tell that both Libby and Justin had channeled most of the nervous energy into excitement. The ceremony was unique and meaningful. The couple took a moment and surprised their parents with a hug and then did a ‘ring ceremony’ where both rings were passed amongst every guest, each person blessing the rings in their own special way. During the ring ceremony their friend Melissa played guitar and sang a pretty song. Their friend Billy did a fantastic job officiating the ceremony. These were personal touches which meant so much to Libby & Justin. When the ceremony ended they danced away down the isle with some fun music playing and everyone shared in the joyous and playful moment. Everyone in the wedding party wore their own unique outfit. Some of the girls were wore French-style hats that were super fun! The catering by Spice of Life was delicious and beautifully presented as always. For me, it was great to be back at Boyden Valley Farm and this time I wanted to explore the silos, farm equipment, and the beautiful fields as new backdrops for the bride/groom formals. It was well worth the effort and I love the images we got! Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
