Welcome to Part 2 of Erin & Spencer’s wedding! Part 1 is here: This was one amazing day! After the ceremony we had fun doing some ‘formal’ portraits at the summit. I would say the word ‘formal’ is not very accurate…as you can see when I asked the wedding party to dance, we all started beat-boxing and getting down! That’s right, dancing with no music…that’s how much fun this group was! This was just a glimpse of the partying that was about to take place once the DJ started spinning back at the reception. When we finished the family and wedding party photos, I had a chance to explore Okemo a little with Erin and Spencer. My assistant was already back at Echo Lake Inn photographing the cocktail hour, and Sabrina’s son Zach helped me w/some of my lighting gear during the bride/groom formals…so huge thanks to Zach, you are the man! We stopped at the railroad tracks on our way out of Okemo for a few fun images, then made our way around nearby lakes, dirt roads, and colorful forests. A very cool thing was the vintage MG convertible that Laurence from Echo Lake Inn loaned to the bride and groom use as their ‘getaway car’. The reception was incredible: the personal touches to the many details that adorned the reception, the emotional toasts by, and dances with Erin and Spencer’s parents, delicious food, flowing open bar and a high-energy dance party! I could go on and on about how fabulous this couple is and how perfectly their wedding day came together. I’ll just let the photos tell the rest of the story.
