Erin & Spencer’s wedding was held on the quintessential Vermont fall day. The temperature was perfect, and the colorful foliage was peaking in central Vermont. This wedding was so fabulous that I’ve got to break it into 2 blog posts! Even still, there are many photos I love that will be sad to find out they’re not going to make it into these posts…there are just way to many images I love! The guys and girls were busy getting ready at Echo Lake Inn, a magical venue in Ludlow, Vermont. I had worked here before but it was 7 years ago…wow time has flown! It was great to be back working with Laurence and the wonderful staff at Echo Lake Inn. This property is a real treasure for anyone wishing to experience an authentic, rustic/elegant Vermont bed and breakfast style vacation. And it’s the perfect venue to host an amazing wedding! I was also so excited to finally get a chance to work with Sabrina Brown of Woodstock Productions. Sabrina was the wedding coordinator for this event and I had been wanting to work with her for so long! She is a go-to person when it comes to planning your dream wedding in Vermont. Back to Erin & Spencer: these guys are pretty much the coolest people ever….a ‘hip’ NYC couple to say the least! They were in such high spirits when I arrived for the getting ready photos…seemed like they both were feeling a perfect blend of nervous butterflies, excitement and happiness. The ceremony was held on the summit of Okemo Mt where the colors were bursting from the trees. A unique idea Erin had was to have my assistant photograph the guests on the chairlift as they arrived to the summit. Then for an added surprise, prints of these images were hanging on a clothesline for the guests to discover when they arrived to the cocktail hour….a personal and meaningful touch to the day. The ceremony site at the summit of Okemo is a beautiful spot with sweeping views of the valley below. It was a perfect backdrop to witness the emotional, happy tear-jerking ceremony of Erin and Spencer. Pt. 2 to this post continued here:
