Jan & Patrick married on a beautiful day in Shoreham, VT and their ceremony was held in the cutest little church, St. Genevieve’s. The day was filled with so much joy, and this wedding was unique in many ways. The understated, country/chic style was lovely. The reception was held at The Cottonwood House, a historic home nestled on the shore of Lake Champlain, close to the beautiful Lake Champlain Bridge. The views from the Cottonwood House were breathtaking, and a soft breeze was blowing in over the waters of Lake Champlain. Inside the wedding tent, the tables were decorated by Jan her family. Hand-made details were everywhere: mason jars filled with moss and tea lights, antique bottles filled with flowers, classic novels everywhere, photo collages of the couple hanging on burlap, an antique typewriter, clear light bulbs that were filled with tiny flowers that Jan made using tweezers…the list of unique details was impressive. Some of the coolest details they created were book page table runners from chapters of Harry Potter books and had a few esteemed guests at the head table including Mr. Sherlock Holmes and The Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins. Their vision was a mix of a garden party and Bilbo’s 111th birthday party from the Fellowship of the Ring! It was clear that Patrick, Jan and their families put much love and creativity into their wedding preparations. Other cool things were: the amazing custom rings made in Scotland, which were carefully sawed in half and fit together perfectly like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, the ‘Abbey Road’ Beatles-style photo of the groomsmen; not a first in wedding photography but such a great image because it’s framed by the cute church in the background, the classic 1963 Ford Falcon sports car in which the bride arrived to the ceremony, and we later used for some super cool photos of the bride and groom, the Seurat-inspired photo of the wedding party where we tried to re-create Seurat’s famous 1884 painting, ‘A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte’, and the amazing wedding cake that was made entirely out of cheese, expertly crafted by Have Your Cake Catering. Of course I can’t forget mentioning how stunning Jan looked in her vintage-inspired wedding dress. I was so impressed that day by the amazing style and details that I was inspired to do some extra vintage treatments on some of my favorite images. It was fun to work on these photos and such a joy to share in Jan and Patricks wedding day!
Best of Luck to the newly wed.
The picture are beautiful like Jan & Patrick

Thank you so much for the beautiful photos Adam! We absolutely love how you were able to capture the fun and excitement of our wedding. Your high level of artistry truly complemented our own aesthetic and the look/feel we were trying to achieve for our special day. So happy we found you, and let us know next time you are in Syracuse!

From the start until the very end of our amazing Wedding Day, Adam was engaged, motivated and had an energy that was supernatural! My husband, Neil and I were very much impressed with Adam’s ability to “stay with us” while he captured the most beautiful moments of our big Day! Neil was a Wedding DJ for 25 years and has never witnessed such a photographer throughout all the years being in this business. We are truly grateful for Adam’s incredible gift of photography! Thank you, Adam for making our Wedding Day an incredible moment in our lives!
Much Love to you, Adam!!
