Sarah and Andrew married this spring in the Church which Burlington’s famous pedestrian mall, ‘Church Street’ is named after. It was a beautiful ceremony attended by their large, loving families. After the ceremony, I jumped into the limo with the bride and groom and we headed straight for one of their favorite pubs, ‘Akes Place’. While in the limo I managed to capture an amazing moment when Andrew surprised Sarah with a special gift. With a gorgeous bridal bouquet by Village Green Florist in the foreground, it made for an artistic image of a candid moment. We had fun doing some bride/groom photos in the bar where Sarah and Andrew would frequent while dating. It made for some playful, non-traditional, and meaningful images. The reception was held at the Essex, Vermont’s culinary resort and spa. I love working at the Essex for the bright lighting in the reception room which is full of windows, the sweet photo opps around the property and of course, their amazing food. The party was high energy, with wonderful music by DJ Aaron Topfer who kept everyone on the dance floor all night. It was great to see these two families come together as one and all their loving friends who also shared in their joy. I really enjoyed getting to know Sarah and Andrew, they are laid back, country music-loving people with big hearts! It was super fun to share in their fabulous wedding day!
