Renee and Sam married this past November at their church in Rutland, VT and celebrated at the Mountain Top Inn. It was a crisp, late fall day and colorful leaves were scattered throughout the church lawn. When the guests started arriving they were greeted with beautiful origami ceremony programs, the first of many fine touches to the details of their day. When Renee arrived in an antique Cadillac limo, I was even more impressed. This was the first time I met Renee and she asked me to keep the limo a secret so Sam would be surprised after the ceremony. I was excited for what I knew would be a unique and great photo opp! I was starting to realize how much thought and effort Renee had put into every detail for their special day. The flowers, the table settings, the cake, the colored glass ‘gemstones’ on the dinner menus, Renee’s gorgeous dress…every detail was truly magnificent. After the ceremony the guests began making their way up the mountain to the Mountain Top and I followed the bride and groom as they were driven in the antique limo. I was excited when I captured the moment as the limo rounded a corner past a white picket fence….a little dreamy don’t you think? When we arrived to the Mt Top, I was glad that Renee and Sam were up for a short adventure so we explored the beautiful property for their bride/groom photos and had some fun! The reception was filled with great food, flowing drinks and lots of dancing. This was the last wedding I photographed in 2012 and a wonderful event to bring my season to a close. I wish Renee and Sam all the very best!
