BIO: Adam Frehm comes from a family of artists. His grandfather, Walter Frehm was the leading illustrator for the famous Ripley's Believe It Or Not. Adam's great uncle Leonard Frehm (Walter's brother) founded the Westport School of Photography in Connecticut, both his father and uncle are photographers and his grandmother was an accomplished pianist who studied music under a student of one of greatest classical composers, Antonin Dvorak. Along with his photography career, Adam is a Grammy-nominated musician, a recording engineer, songwriter and music producer. In July 2009, Adam took first place in the national Dobro Championship at the Rockygrass Bluegrass Festival in Lyons, Colorodo. Adam is also an accomplished snowboarder, kitesurfer, salsa dancer and enjoys the adventures of traveling abroad.

When Adam began high school, his father gave him a 35mm Minolta camera. This was his first step into the world of serious photography. He quickly became a photographer and, at fourteen years of age he took his first photography class. Throughout his sophomore through senior years in high school he headed a team of photographers while working as the photo editor on the yearbook staff. Adam attended the University of Vermont where he attained his Bachelor of Science degree through the school of Animal Science. During and after college he focused on black and white photography and developed and printed all of his work in a darkroom that he built in his house. Adam Frehm specializes in wedding / lifestyle photography and filmmaking, but also excels in other areas of the field. His work has been published & recognized in the architectural, travel, product, live music and fine art arenas. Adam has worked at the Grey Fox Bluegrass festival as part of their photo staff for over 6 years. His work has been published in the New York Times, Vermont Magazine, Wedding Wire, Woodstock Magazine, Vermont Life, Vermont Vows, Boulder Weekly, Vail Daily, Seven Days and countless online publications.
